School Bus Safety Week: October 20 - 24, 2014



National School Bus Safety Week kicks off on October 20th.  The week is dedicated to bringing greater awareness to school bus safety. The importance of stopping when school bus red lights are flashing, slowing down in school zones, and around the school bus. All of these actions will help keep students safe. 

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has said buses are the safest method for getting students to and from school.

Make it ORANGE and make it end! Unite against bullying!
Wear ORANGE. It can be an orange T-shirt, tie, hat, wristband, socks, or even shoelaces.
Show your support beyond the school—wear ORANGE in the workplace, home and community.
